The Casati Archives is the world’s only data source and image bank devoted to preserving the artistic and cultural legacy of the Marchesa Luisa Casati. It was founded by Scot D. Ryersson and Michael Orlando Yaccarino in 1999 upon the original publication of Infinite Variety and is the result of their continuing international research and collecting. In addition to a wealth of original materials, books and ephemera, this ever-growing library contains artwork reproductions and photographs of and inspired by the Marchesa Casati. The Casati Archives assists journalists, authors, artists, fashion designers, specialists and the media of all kinds worldwide. It has provided images and information, as well as performed consulting services for such prestigious organizations as the Victoria and Albert Museum (London), Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York City), Musée d'Orsay (Paris), Art Gallery of Ontario (Toronto), Mediocredito Centrale (Rome), Istituto Italiano di Cultura (New York City, Toronto and London), Berufsvereinigung der bildenden Künstler Vorarlbergs (Bregenz), Padova Palazzo Zabarella (Padova) and the premier international auction houses, Christie's and Sotheby's.
